Border Collies are clever, quick and built for work. Whatever you put on them has to stay put through sprints, turns and long days outdoors.
Fit first
Choose adjustable straps that can be snugged without chafing. Reflective details are worth having for early and late walks.
Cold and wet
Their medium double coat copes with most weather, but a light waterproof layer helps after swims and on very wet days.
Most Border Collies sit in M–L. Check the chest measurement after they have lost any winter coat.
